There are many groups that can get you onto the track. It really depends on how you want to serve your motorsports passion. Ask yourself if you want to start in a group that can meet your needs as a driver, as your skills evolve, and your desire for more increases over time? Will the environment be safe for me and my car? How much track time will I get? Who are the instructors? Will there be enough driving choices for me?
There are several choices to make. See what we have to offer, some of which is highlighted here:
Education: It’s what every driver needs to improve. The pros have coaches to help them know where and how to improve, and so can you. At no cost. This is a no-cost service from Novice to Advanced skill level.
You don’t have to pay $3000 for a driving school at Laguna or Infineon, spending time learning how to drive a car that you’ll never see again. We provide top-notch customized education in your car, driving at your pace. That’s something none of these driving schools can provide: in-car instruction with the car you’re trying to master.
Instructors: Without bragging, we have some of the best instructors around. You’ll notice the quality right away. We find fantastic drivers who can teach, screen them, test them, and evaluate them each track day. That isn’t normal for this industry, and unfortunately it’s more often than not others will just grab a driver with some experience, a heart-beat, with no other screening. Website: What do you want to know about driving on a track? Just about anything you can think of is on our site. If not, go to the Message Board. It’s frequented by drivers of the highest caliber, machinists, mechanics, do-it-yourselfers, and everything in between. Ask a question on the message board day or night and you’ll get an answer. Probably several.
Road To Racing: The NCRC provides an environment to better develop your driving skills. Whether you plan to race some day or only want to touch the track once a year. Generally you’ll have two hours behind the wheel or more each day. You can prepare with the NCRC and race with the American Racing Club, the NCRC’s parent organization. There are very few groups that take in novice drivers and train them to become racers all within the same friendly atmosphere.

Price: You’ll find the NCRC’s prices usually within 10% of our lowest cost competitors... at the other end of the scale, some of them are 200%-300% more than us, with fewer features! Shop and compare. Usually we offer lunch, but not when it’s going to impact the track price significantly. Same with other baubles, they’re nice but - We’re at the track to drive better, make friends, and have loads of fun, not dine on gourmet meals -- that’s for restaurants. We do occasionally hold special track days that provide some of the best food around, like our annual ThunderFest event. There’s no question we are a bargain when you look at the amount and quality of the instruction, track-time, service, and the environment provided by the NCRC.
