Event Hosting
Have you ever wanted to have your own track day event for your club, but aren't quite sure you can handle the logistics?
NCRC has a solution for you - do it through our event hosting program!
What is it?
We get calls all the time from clubs wanting to have an event that is "theirs" in that they can advertise it to their club, put on a special BBQ, have their area of the paddock, or drive together in the same run group on the track. This all sounds simple until they get in to the logistics of how to handle registrations, how to maximize your entry count, getting insurance, finding flaggers and safety crews, providing classrooms and instruction for novice drivers... the "to do list" seems endless.
Fortunately, NCRC is a large club and does all these things on a daily basis. We can provide all these logistics for you using our existing infrastructure, with the same attention to detail and quality as has become standard for NCRC, leaving you with just the fun of attending the event and having a good time with your friends. Our fee can be negotiated as a fixed fee or a percentage of the profit.
Sounds Great, How Do I Start?
Each of these events is slightly different, but start by contacting us with your ideas, and we'll work with you to create the event you want. Key items to think about include:
- One of the key components to any track event is the date (surprise!) so keep in mind that tracks allocate dates each fall for the coming year. You may want to request a date for your event from the track at the same time as you're planning it with us; you can't decide in May that you'd like to put on an event in June.
- Marketing and communication of the event are key to success. You will need to market the event directly to your club, rather than assuming word of mouth will just cause everyone to show up.
- Driver count is directly related to pricing. Get an idea of how many drivers you might have, and what kind of pricing you'd like to meet.
