$149 Customer Appreciation Day!

We're happy to offer this great Friday to make a fun-filled event for everyone at Thunderhill Park in Willows California. We're doing this as a "no frills" customer appreciation day. We'll still have all the safety (fire, medical) and track workers, but lunch, our VIP room, and instruction are not included (the grill will be open for purchases as usual). We'll be running the bypass at turn 5.

For the lower speed groups, this event will be a street school with passing only safe zones. The advanced groups will run with more open passing rules. No racing, this is for learning and having fun, and a safe dose of competition. These events are open to all ARC/NCRC club members. So whether you're a beginner or an advanced driver, come join us for a day at the track! If you are a beginner, we'll have a classroom, and your first track session will be a lead/follow to introduce you to the track, but that's all the formal instruction we'll provide at this event.

We'll have four open track groups, as well as our regular Time Trial series. Please sign up for these in advance during the registration process, if you're interested.

We'll also have an exhibition race, open to all registered ARC racers. Sign up for this race on the regular NCRC registration form.

Preparation

See our Rules page for a list of NCRC rules, as well as our Thunderhill page for more specific track configuration and local rules we'll be following for this event. Also note that you are responsible for the condition of you and your car, and should review the guidelines and tech requirements on our logistics page.

Schedule

This schedule is tentative, and may change a bit as we get closer to the event.

Refunds

If you cancel two weeks before the event, we give a full refund. Within two weeks of the event, we credit half of your event payment to a future event, but as of 48 hours before the day the event begins there are NO refunds or credits given. This includes multiple day events, even if your car breaks the morning of day one. We'll feel bad for you since we truly want you to enjoy what you paid for. However, we must cover the costs of the event that are fully committed once the event starts, or there won't be an NCRC in the future. This is a generous policy among track clubs. All NCRC credits are held with us for two years before they expire, so you have plenty of time to use them.

Rain is typically handled by the track itself, not by NCRC. Typical policy is that the track holds the event, rain or shine, unless there is an unsafe condition or damage at the track. If the event is cancelled due to rain, NCRC will refund whatever portion of the total costs we can recoup.
